Dark, heavy, mysterious

When they say black, they really mean it. Oh wow. I'm completely mind-blown by the intoxicating scent of Black Lotus. This fragrance is dark, mysterious, strong - you'll either love it or won't be able to be around it. In my opinion it pulls very masculine in the top, my mind immediately went to another prestigious London-based niche fragrance house's unique scents. Within 10 mins, the initial blast of saffron starts to give way to the darkest of roses and a big dose of patchouli on a waxy leather base. It's safe to say this powerful trio dominates Black Lotus the entire time. I don't get any of the other indicated notes, I do smell a faint bitter dark chocolate/cocoa accord lingering in the background however.
Makes me miss rainy London, leather jackets, rock bars and metal gigs.
It's not gonna be everybody's scent profile but it certainly is mine. Gifted by Floral Street.
